Join your fellow Mountain Park community members on Wednesday, June 24 between 6-8 PM to share your thoughts on the future of your city - how you envision it maturing and addressing these key needs.
A critical responsibility of local government is planning - shaping and guiding growth, change, and improvement. In Georgia, every local government must maintain a Comprehensive Plan to chart a course for the long term. Mountain Park is updating its Comprehensive Plan this year. This is an opportunity to look beyond day-to-day needs and think long-range. What are the community's goals and priorities for the future? What will it take to achieve them? Through this process, the community can refine and prioritize its vision, needs and opportunities, goals, and action items for the future - around issues like land use, natural resources, transportation, housing, infrastructure, and more.
This event isn't a traditional meeting - it's designed with interactive boards and activities to draw out and help you articulate your feedback. The event is also an "Open House." Drop in any time between 6-8 PM and take as much (or as little!) time as you need. We hope to see you there!
