Trash
Trash and recycling bins may be ordered through City Hall. Trash service is billed on your monthly water bill.
- Trash and recyclable items are picked up on Friday of every week by Seegreen Services.
- All trash must be bagged before placed in bins and recycling must be free in bins (not bagged).
- No trash will be taken that is left outside of the trash container.
- Bins should be placed at the street curb by 6:00 a.m. Friday morning and no earlier than 6:00 p.m. the night before. If possible, do not place the bins near your mailbox and put them on your driveway on the opposite side of the mailbox area.
- Bins should be removed from the curb by 8:00 a.m. the following day.
If your trash and recycling bins are not picked up by Friday evening, please contact City Hall by phone or email to report it by 10:00 a.m. on Monday. The city will attempt to get all missed bins picked up before the next trash service day, but can't guarantee this.

Recycling
Recycling is required of all City residents.
The City of Mountain Park has a great recycling program. Everyone participates, and as a result, we keep a large volume of material out of landfills. Before you recycle, try to reduce the amount you recycle by reusing items to keep them out of the recycle stream.
- Reduce the amount you recycle.
- Make wise packaging selections. Select products that are not wasteful in their packaging.
- Practice composting
- Reuse containers and products.
- Buy only what you need and use what you bought
- As much as possible, buy products with recycled content
Yard Waste
Residents are encouraged to recycle all yard debris by mulching and composting.
Seegreen offers yard waste curbside collection if you are unable to mulch or compost. Yard waste guidelines are listed below.
- Grass clippings and leaves should be bagged or placed inside a container for removal. Bags and containers should not exceed 30 pounds each.
- Brush and limbs should not exceed 2 inches in diameter, be cut into 3-foot lengths and bundled no larger than 2 feet in diameter (armful size) with rope or twine.
- Dirt, sand, sod, mulch, debris from tree removals and debris from landscaping renovations are not considered yard waste and should not be placed out for removal.
- Up to 3 bags and 3 bundles of yard material will be collected.
- If your bags exceed 30 pounds they will not be collected.
- If you exceed a combination of 3 bags and 3 bundles it is considered a bulk pickup and will not be collected.
