Wanda has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Ga Tech and an MBA in Finance from Mercer University. Upon receiving her MBA, she taught several graduate courses at Mercer. In her career she managed several factories ranging from automotive to electronics to lighting. Additionally, she managed the functional side of manufacturing systems implementations, as well as acquisition integrations. Wanda has spent the last number of years as an independent consultant focused on manufacturing and management process improvements.
Wanda's family moved to Mountain Park when she was 4 years old. Her family was one of the first “year-round” families living in the park. She learned to swim in the gigantic old swimming pool, to water ski on Lake Cherful, and to fish in Lake Garrett. Wanda's mother was a founding member of the Civic Club and her father helped build the MPVFR station. She says it was a fabulous place to grow up. Upon the passing of her mother in 1994, Wanda and her husband bought out her siblings and moved to the family home.
Wanda will do her best to keep the beauty, sense of community, and longevity of our wonderful Mountain Park.
