Temporary Parking Permit

A temporary parking permit may be obtained from the City of Mountain Park by any current resident of the city. A permit may be applied for by completing an application with City Hall at least 24 hours before the permit becomes effective, during regular business hours, and by paying the permit fee of $10.00.

  • This permit allows for the temporary parking of vehicles along the side of city streets in instances where enough off-street parking is not available for a particular event or occasion.
  • All permits are of a temporary duration not to exceed 24 hours.
  • All vehicles covered under the permit must be positioned off the street sufficiently to allow for the orderly flow of traffic while the vehicles are parked.
  • Temporary parking permits may not be obtained for commercial ventures other than for yard sales.
  • Possession of a temporary parking permit does not convey any rights to obstruct access to fire hydrants, obscure visibility at corners or driveways, or to block intersections.
  • A temporary parking permit does not diminish the rights of other nearby property owners regarding trespassing or other damages to their properties.
  • Once the permit is issued, it shall be displayed at the residence to which the permit is assigned for the entire period when the permit is actually active.
  • City Hall will contact you when the permit is ready to pick up.
