Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
The City of Mountain Park has a great recycling program. Everyone participates, and as a result, we keep a large volume of material out of landfills. Before you recycle, try to reduce the amount you recycle by reusing items to keep them out of the recycle stream.
- Reduce the amount you recycle.
- Make wise packaging selections. Select products that are not wasteful in their packaging.
- Practice composting
- Reuse containers and products.
- Buy only what you need and use what you bought
- As much as possible, buy products with recycled content
