What an incredible year this has been so far. When things looked like they were going to improve they started getting bad again. After much deliberation with our Director of Public Safety along with the updated information from Fulton County and the State of Georgia, we have decided to postpone the fireworks until Labor Day weekend. With some of the surrounding cities not doing fireworks the City of Mountain Park could be overrun with non-residents coming to see our fireworks and we don’t have the space to manage that situation safely. According to the most recent information by city, we are fortunate to be the only city in Fulton County that has NO cases of COVID-19 and we will try to do what is needed to maintain that status.
Enjoy your Fourth of July at home with your family and know you are not putting yourself and others at risk of getting this virus.
